How to set up a customer account:
1.on the 1st SMO page you get to put in a user name and password in the box up top.   it can be anything.  SMO does not have customer numbers on file so just make up a name and password.
2. you now need to fill in account info so fill in "Add Account Info".   this is only done one time to save customer steps in future when he reenters site and uses his name and password he entered account info under.
3.  The main trick here is to put COD in under payment type.  This can be changed when customer does actual order later on but  it screws up if he puts in PO for payment type at this stage.
4. Once this Account info has been entered.  customer is able to place order is a very short time.

Note about on-line orders :
If customer orders on line now, the customer gets an acknowledgement via e-mail and the order just gets e-mailed directly to partner.  Partner then has to actually place order.   SMO does not place order -- all they do is e-mail it to us.

Testing  -- on-line orders :
Please go in and try this "set up an Account deal" and then place an order.  make sure to enter SMO from your personal link.    make up a name and password...   place an order.....   check on order in private area

Value of this SMO Site
Some customers will hate it -- some will love it ... its a tool to use against Global, Grainger etc
